The WindFields

The Community Economic Development Corporations of the Scotian Wind Field family are incorporated under the Community Economic Development Investment Fund (CEDIF) program of the Nova Scotia government. Qualifying CEDIF Corporations are eligible for a 35% provincial Equity Tax Credit against NS provincial income taxes payable and further credits under the federal RRSP program. more

Participation

Making community energy happen and increasing the amount of renewable energy in Nova Scotia will require widespread participation throughout the province. You can jump on board  and help Nova Scotia enjoy a cleaner, safer, more economically viable future by connecting with your local windfield; advocating for policies that work; installing planet-friendly renewables in your own home or business; and getting involved on the Board of Directors of a community wind field. more
