Participation
Community-based renewable energy is a concept of global dimensions. Germany and Denmark are leaders in developing programs and policies that involve the whole community in planning the development and owning the output of their renewable energy resources.
Making community energy happen and increasing the amount of renewable energy in Nova Scotia will require widespread participation throughout the province.
You can jump on board and help Nova Scotia enjoy a cleaner, safer, more economically viable future by:
- investing in your local windfield
- by advocating for policies that work
- by installing planet-friendly renewables in your own home or business
- or by getting involved on the Board of Directors of a community wind field.
